Ashlei Victoria Murray is a proud southern belle from Jackson, Mississippi, with roots in Memphis, Tennessee. A graduate of Jackson State University’s Speech Communications and Theatre Department, she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where her love for community service was cultivated. Ashlei performed with the Sonic Boom of the South’s renowned dance auxiliary, Thee Prancing J-Settes, and built a dynamic career as a singer-dancer for a leading cruise line, stuntwoman, and live theater performer. Now based out west, she channels her passion for HBCU culture through her company, Majorette Out West, where she teaches a monthly southern-style dance class. Her heart for service drives her excitement to mentor young students aspiring to excel in the entertainment industry.
